Christie Zuckerberg, Twenty Six-Never

In this episode, things get a bit tense when a friendly conversation about simple video sharing/dick video app Vine takes a turn for the serious when Alex explains why he’s ditched Facebook for good. Then things get even serious-er when Mark dares to be excited for an HD version of cel-shaded boat simulator that is The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, coming to the WiiU. Alex has opinions on that as well. This is 8-bit Dairyland’s seventeenth show.

CORRECTION: The boys should have done some research before they ragged on the Surface Pro install size–Windows 8 doesn’t take up ALL of that 20 GB on the 64 GB model. Some that space is eaten up by a recovery partition–which is still a lot.

In CES (t)

The boys never made it to Vegas this year, but that’s okay, because Mark is more focused on getting new Pokeymans for his hypocritical 3DS to think about much else. They do manage to chat a bit about Steam hardware rumors and 4K televisions for a bit, so this is still technically a CES show. Misadventures in sketchy Windows 8 licensing close it out. This is 8-Bit Dairyland’s sixteenth show.

Instagram This!

In this episode, Alex’s brain is broken. He thinks he’s people. Mark couches his hatred for Instagram filters in a quiet rage about the broken promises of changes Facebook has brought to the service. The boys pine for the simpler days of Nintendo Power before giving sorta praise to the latest redesign of iTunes. This is 8-Bit Dairyland’s fifteenth show.

They Call Me Trello Yellow

Master Chief hogs the spotlight this week as the boys discuss the long awaited Halo 4. Alex had no idea there were Halo novels, but hey, reading’s not really his thing. The Jawbone Up makes its triumphant return after a long and hopefully restful vacation, and Mark tries to make Alex use an Internet thing (Trello). This is 8-bit Dairyland’s fourteenth show.

Slippery When Wet

In this week’s show, Mark runs out of beer, Nintendo remembers an important and maybe racist hardware announcement, and Alex goes all Apple fanboy on Microsoft’s asses over their new Surface tablets. Also, we learn that illegal 16-bit ROMs are important historical things, which makes downloading them okay, maybe? More ranting about the direction of future video game consoles. This is 8-bit Dairyland’s seventh show.

8-tech Dairyphiles

Super special guest on this weeks episode. Mark and Alex are joined by David Geisler, host of the very popular tech podcast, Technophiles. Mostly E3 this week, but plenty of talk of Jurassic Park, Metroid and (ugh) Mass Effect… Mark amazes the cast (and saves the segment) with a dick joke, while David becomes ad hoc host (thank god(hail satan!)). Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! This is 8-bit Dairyland’s sixth show.

Hail Satan!

Foster’s, Australian for fun! This week Mark and Alex get all up in your face with Lady Wizards and general bad-assery. Diablo III is on the docket, and the boys rock the D. The big… black… D… Some card game for bad people and a way to slip a few past the goalie. MASTER CYLINDER!!! sorry… Close on a text editor and an e-reader… its cool… I swear.  Extra nerdy, extra awesome, extra content is a rant about Facebook and the Leap Motion. This is 8-bit Dairyland’s fifth show.

ep. 002 | Good Thing

RE-CAPTCHA!  Mass Effect 3… again… Then some non-sense about Donald Trump. Super Brothers touches us in ways we couldn’t imagine. Mark says “Ars Technica”, then explains himself. Indy game developers are the future, Mark doesn’t think so. Its okay though, he sleeps like a rock. This is 8-bit Dairyland’s second show.
